Have you ever seen a plant while going for a walk and wondered, can I eat that? Wonder no more! Join our urban foraging expert on this exciting wild food scavenger hunt! In this urban foraging class, guests will get to know the abundance of wild food in their very own local parks, forests, and beaches. Our urban foraging expert will show guests how to recognize edible native plants that are found all over Northern California like miner’s lettuce, nasturtium, wild onions, and much more. By the end of this workshop, guests will be excited by how much more they know about the plants in their parks and forests. To top it off, guests will enjoy a gourmet meal made completely of wild foraged plants from Northern California prepared by our chef.

This class includes foraging baskets, a Northern California edible plant guide, and a wild foraged meal for guests.

This class can take place in San Francisco or in Marin county. Group transportation can be provided for off-site locations.
